    Hi Guys.

I just wanted to tell you, that we have made a thread and I think we have the "solution" for the SCPH-9000X Problem.

Just like jimmikaelkael said (i can't find the thread right now) FMCB can't be launched on the SCPH 9000x models, because of the new bios.

    This is true.

But there seem to be SCPH 9000x models with the old bios version.

They seem all to be produced before March 2008.

In this thread some of our members listed if FMCB is working or not and their Date-Code. I Think even if You don't know german you will understand it

    http://www.ps3-tools.de/thread.php?threadid=15490

Hope that will help some people =)

All the SCPH 9000x who had the Date Code 8b FMCB could be launched on, the other ones who had 8c FMCB is not working.

The Date Code is the Third circle which is to the right of the Serialnr.

    See the pic in attachment

Tha Date Code stands for the month it is produced.

    A - January
    B - February
    C - March
    D - April
    E - May
    F - June
    G - July
    H - August
    J - September
    K - October
    L - November
    M - December

    So 8c means March 2008

You have to give us something else, because not all SCPH-9000x come with region code, dump the bios e tell us the bios version from the models that doesn't work. I my case is 220.

Anyway, if you want support for that models you have to talk with jimmikaelkael, my model for example did not work with FMCB before, it was after a lot of tests that FMCB came about to my model.

Ok, I'll post it in the ps3-tools forum and hope that the users will dump their bios =)

    @ Katananja

I'm not asking for support for these models, i think we just found out how u can seperate the FMCB working scph 9000x from the not FMCB working schp9000x consoles, with just looking at the Date Code (perhaps thats usefull for some ppl who want to buy the scph 9000x fpr using FMCB on them )

Btw. Can someone give me the 1.8 Beta ? I have a China Clone Card here, and i want to test, if it runs better with FMCB 1.8 because jimmi said, it would run better with cloned cards.

I think it is not interesting that the SCPH 90004 consoles are being sold cheap in Germany That's why i didn't write it in here.

    @ Setya5785

Good to know. The user of the ps3-tools.de Forum either had a 8c console or an 8b.
