Some games have problems with non-Sony-MCs.
The format of your MC also could be somewhat corrupted.
If this is the case, normally the re-partitioning (not format) of the MC works wonders (and is only possible with MCAnnihilator by ffgriever, or by HD-Project from various developers).
Hello All
please i need help on my fat ps2 SCPH 18000 and SCPH 10000 all NTSC J, the problem is that the two wont work with my memory card which has FMCB installed in it and working on a different console, it works on the one with a large PC CARD port with these two which has small PC CARD port it wont help, please help me if there is a solution and how to go about it but i am a noob consider it when helping me out.
Thanks and with all my gratefulness.
You only need to copy the X-Modules to the 'SYS-CONF'-Folder on your FMCB-MC.
I can't attach the X-Modules here, but you can either dump it from your newer PS2's BIOS, or search for it...![]()
Those consoles (Or at least the SCPH-10000) will search for OSDSYS updates, but will expect osd110.elf as the update program.
If you install FMCB using another PS2 of a compatible region (It must be MG region 00 in this case), you must perform a multi-install and have the X-modules in the required folder.

Nooby is great .... so simple to use and instal ..
May i ask only, what is SP193 patch on SMS player ?
My modified version of SMS can run on all Playstation 2 consoles, including the first models (SCPH-10000 and SCPH-15000).
The original release of SMS v2.9 Revision 4 by it's author (EEUG) only worked on consoles with the less buggy EE kernel (Playstation 2 consoles starting from the SCPH-18000 series).

Thanks for answer.
I dont beleive that here are still some of that oldest PS2 in function ... cool ....
Hello,
ive got a problem with this package and maybe someone know the solution and can help me pls...
My Ps is connected through a yuv-component-cable and with normal "old" fmcb-pack every program starts fine in 576i-mode on my lcd but with 2011-nooby I see only black screen when starting any .elf -psms-emu for example- and I have to switch to normal "av"-connection/pal on tv to see the screen! It automatically switches from 576i to pal, but why??
And does this nooby-pack actually including the "updated" usb-drivers Ive read from? Because Snes-station-usb still freezes, same as old fmcb-pack! It freezes when trying to access usb, is there any solution?

The FMCB-Loader is exactly the same, so I don't know why that should happen.
Maybe you should try to reformat your MC with 'MCAnnihilator v2' (by ffgriever) and then re-install the package again.
Another thing: Are you sure, that you don't have a USB-Device connected (maybe along with a FMCB-Config on it)?
Not sure, but sounds interesting...It automatically switches from 576i to pal, but why??
Just for the sake of completeness,... PAL basically is 576i.
Maybe there is a difference about the v-mode,... Maybe it is related to 'interleaced'-'non-inerleaced' stuff.
GS-Mode-Selector-Thread is a great source for info about this kind of info.
Afaik, these are the newest drivers. And does this nooby-pack actually including the "updated" usb-drivers Ive read from?
This hasn't anything to do with FMCB's USB-Drivers!Because Snes-station-usb still freezes, same as old fmcb-pack! It freezes when trying to access usb, is there any solution?
SNES-Station uses internal/embedded USB-Drivers...
Just try another version (those by ffgriever for example), or another USB-Device.
