No, they open but the links at the top of the page don't work. You hover over them and nothing happens.
http://freemcboot.info/
The only link on there that works for me is the "PS2 Apps" page.
Just looked at the code, looks like it might be bad javascript or something. That page doesn't work on my Win7/IE8 boxes (tried 2) but the other site seems to work ok...
Doubt it's just me though =)
I don't have a clue when it comes to php and java. Hopefully JNABK can have a look when he has a chance.![]()
I'm just going to drop it here. Not looking to get into an argument. Two PC's with Win 7, OBVIOUSLY It's IE8 since that's what Win7 comes with and I did specify earlier.
Neither machine shows it correctly.
The problem is IE and PHP not working together like other browsers do. The only way i can fix them is to revert both sksapps and psx-scene back to HTML and remove the PHP .
The one site i have is all HTML, since the storeage i use doesnt support PHP scripting. I am still looking into finding a fix so they can remain PHP files, but i havent had time lately to try anything.

my fmcb works fine till i run esr, then my screen flashes many weird colors till it goes black, then it opens ulaunchelf (ule) and says "failed to load launchelf.cnf" instead of playing my (patched) ps2 backup.
im sooooooooo desperate please help

idk if you guys can help me my head hurts and my eyes are burnning cause i have been looking for a solution for this and no luck at all im trying to install fmcb using disc swap trick with need for speed under ground 2 i replace the .elf file with the renamed ulaunch.elf and it show me "there was an error initializing the network adapter"
Ok, you need to search the disc swap game list submissions thread (http://psx-scene.com/forums/showthre...t=62295&page=6 (PS2 Game Swap Trick - List Submissions)) to see if anyone else has used the NFS:most wanted game to boot a bootable uLaunchELF (aka uLE) or FMCB install disc. if not then you'll want to use a game that has been confirmed to work. most commonly the 007 nightfire or agent under fire games have the most widespread reports for working. gamestop has the $9.99 & under used game bin and either of the 007 games are priced at $3! go and grab either one.
second you need the following prepared,
a. compatible game with the disc swap method
b. make a rip of the game using IMGburn and burn it with the same program at mid-speed.
c. the sensor mod done if you have slim PS2 or homemade sliding tool/magic key for Fat PS2. these are needed to enable hardware bypass for the swap to work.
*select one of these of install methods:
d1. http://sksapps.com/index.php?page=fmcb.html
d2. using uLaunchELF (aka uLE) you can select either the bootable v4.40 cd type or the v4.37 cd-dvdversions. burn these with IMGburn at mid-speed. also, you need a usb flash-drive formatted to FAT or FAT32 to store the FMCB noobie_package (located at sksapps.com) so that you can launch the FMCB.ELF with uLE.
http://sksapps.com/index.php?page=launchers.html
The colour flash sequence is standard for all ESR versions and is intended to provide a means for non-programmers to give meaningful feeback on problems. So if a freeze occurs on one of the colours you can report that and the programmer will know at what major step of the boot sequence the problem occurred.
That is not an error, but simply an informative message stating that the uLE installation you have does not have any "LAUNCHELF.CNF" file, so it will be using defaults for all settings. You can change this by using uLE's "Configure" command, and then exiting from the configuration menu this opens by using its "OK" command, which will save the configuration to MC. And then you should never see that "failed..." message again, since the uLE program will then find its CNF file in future sessions.then it opens ulaunchelf (ule) and says "failed to load launchelf.cnf"
That is because the ESR elf you are using is not intended to launch any backups.instead of playing my (patched) ps2 backup.![]()
It is in fact intended to launch uLE (or another DEV1-installed elf), so it has fulfilled its purpose.
You are simply using the wrong ESR elf. The original r9b release contains three different elfs, as follows:im sooooooooo desperate please help
"ESR beta r9b dvdv direct.elf" == Main version. This is what you should have used but didn't.
"ESR beta r9b dvdv direct off.elf" == Special version for a few games that fail with the one above
"ESR beta r9b mcard.elf" == Browser version, activates ESR driver and launches DEV1 elf
Of these it is clear that you use the last one, whereas you should have used the first one.
So just download and extract the r9b release package and then rename the "ESR beta r9b mcard.elf" file to "ESR.ELF" and use it to replace your current "mc0:/BOOT/ESR.ELF". And for this copying you should of course use the uLE FileBrowser. If you prepare the new file on a FAT32 USB drive you can then use the uLE FileBrowser to 'Copy' the file from its "mass:" drive and then 'Paste' it into the "mc0:/BOOT/" folder as needed.
And that should do it.
Henceforth your ESR game backups should boot correctly.
Best regards: dlanor
