FMCB/ESR/HDL in MC1? Is it Possible?

Edit: Resolved using ESR beta r8a+ mcard.

So I have everything set up the way I want it except for one thing...

I have FMCB set to autoload ULE, then when that starts I can run the ESR mcard.elf, then run the HDLoader.elf when it gets back to the ULE screen & install my backup.

It all works perfectly if I have my card in the 1st slot (mc0), but if I boot my PS2 with it in the second slot (mc1), I only get a black screen when running the ESR mcard.elf. It never goes back to the ULE screen like it does when it's in the 1st slot. Everything else works fine.

Is there a way to make it work from MC1, or is it a feature that can be implemented in the next release? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
