Is there any way you could get a memory card dump with hd project. I bought one of these cards but it was corrupt when I tried using it after alot of work on it I got it to format but only to 64mb. I was hoping to get the true 128mb to work I was able to make a VMC at 128mb and flash it but it shows up corrupt and if I format it it goes back to 64mb.

Thanks dangwoot I tried mckiller it couldn't fix the card when it was corrupt and when fixed (well working at 64mb) McKiller doesn't format back to 128mb just to 64mb. Even if the ps2 sees it as 128mb after VMC .bin hd project flash but i can't copy files to card with ps2 always fails.Quote:

hmmm sorry to hear that....have you tried something like codebreaker or armax and use the built in memorycard software to format it?.....though if mckiller didn't work i don't think those will but it's worth a shot.
try using FMCB's installer to format the card. might do the trick.

Used all those and some. codebreaker de-bricked the card but made it 8mb than qatool was able to un format it than reformat it to 64mb. It's not formatting issue something makes this card 128mb it says one-touch switching (but doesn't explain what that means) on package. maybe theres some way to switch between 2 different blocks of 64mb memory.
Might want to add I've using FMBC (1.2 and on) for awhile and it's great.

if you have the old mc flashing tool, use the mc emu to create a 128MB mc image file. then flash it to the card.
I'm talking the flashing program for the original OSDatel hack that existed before it evolved into FMCB.

Alreadey tried making a 128mb VMC in hd project which made the card 128mb when flashed (had to replace .mci file with one dumped from my card to make it flash) but was useless other than looking 128mb even was able to format it at 128mb with different tools but still wasn't able to move files in ule or anything else when formated with FMCB it goes back to 64mb.
