This card gives me BSOD on postinstall reboot.
I tried everything pointed out in this thread and mixed some of the methods by myself but nothing worked. Every 'secondary' tool to calculate mcid said i do not have the good dvdelf as well as mcid.elf i found somewhere else, so it wasn't possible for me to find out an alternative mcid. Installing with dvdple as injected elf resulted in installation error on 'checking mc for osd fat' and rebooted in bsod again.
Does it automatically reboot to BSOD, while it says "checking mc for osd FAT", or did you manualy reset the PS2?
I'm not Jimmi, but I might help ya out also.
@jimmi: maybe ur new elf could find out my mcid ?
Console is a fat one 50004.
I really would like to have this issue solved, so if you have an idea of how i could help or what i should do else i'll try my best (being not unfamilar with hexeditors and 6502
PS: Another thing: I also ran the 'version check' elf (from other thread) which gave me -203 in all cases except for a version called GEN which was 38. As far as i remember this wasn't mentioned there before...maybe helpful ?
I suppose, that FMCB 1.8 will be much more compatible with clone-cards like yours.
probably 2Bugs are worked out.
-Loop-Effect/Kick to OSD, if you try to start an ELF from the OSD (with a chines clone-card). <-- Not a real bug-fix, but a new method of loading ELFs through the OSD, which I assume will also fix that issue.
