    If you read it with a tool, you can see the speeds, they are able to be burned with.

    e.g.:

    1x 4x, 8x --> Cert-Speed usually is the middle. 4x
    1x 4x, 8x, 12x, 16x --> Cert-Speed (8x)
    4x, 8x, 12x, 16x --> Cert-Speed 10x
    In ImgBurn it says "4x, 6x, 8x, 12x, 16x, 18x" disc id "MCC 03RG20"
    the discs are labeled emotion and have 1x-8x written on them with a purplish writing surface. You find your cert speed by adding them altogether and diving them by how many they are so my cert speed should be 10x right?
    10.666666666666666666666666666667 so it should be rounded off to 11x but I don't have option to burn it 11x only 10x or 12x.

    MCC=Mitsubishi chemical corp.
    So it is a Verbatim, right?
    Try it with 12x, if you can.

    I thought you have a PIONEER-"Burner". ^^
    So, what is the model and FW, of your DVD-Writer?
    If you have a Pioneer, you should be able, to write to it with any speed, from a specific model and upwards.

    the discs are labeled emotion and have 1x-8x written on them with a purplish witting surface. You find your cert speed by adding them altogether and diving them by how many they are so my cert speed should be 10x right?
    No, the middle, of highest and lowest speed mostly is (so in this case exact 11), but this "emotion"-dvds, simply should be relabeled Verbatim, but I'm not sure.
    The best is, if you "waste" a DVD-R, to know, which is the best speed in your case.
    Try to scan a DVD for C1/C2-Errors after burning (i.e. with "Nero CD-DVD Speed", even if it is not that good, it is enough.)

    Btw.: I think, they are certified for 12x, even if I don't know for sure,... :-/

    MCC 03RG20 is verbatim as TNA says - they are best burned at 8-12x.

    That is if the discs are original verbatim, which I highly doubt they are. They more than likely just use the verb MID, in which case 6x is the best speed to burn them at.

    DVD-112D Firmware: v1.24 it's the PIONEER CDVD burner that doesn't burn or load CD's due to a problem with the low quality cd laser it has, I don't feel like sending it off for a replacement either as I'll have no DVD burner / reader for ages, I burn all my cd's with my BenQ 5232W anyway.
