FCMB & HDLoader Help!?
FCMB & HDLoader Help!? –
I recently started playing my PS2 again. Only to see that the HDLoader didn't want to work. I've made a post on here before stating that it would hang at the "HD Loading" screen. This time I boots into the HD, shows me my list of games, and then doesn't load the game. I select the game I want to play, and it's just a black screen. Even with trying different modes....Etc. Nothing will load. Any suggestions? Thanks
does it happen on a specific game or all of your games ?
it also could be the Patched HDLoader that you are using not suitable for your PS2 or not patched for your PS2
It seems to be all the games. I tried it with a game that use to work no problem and now it won't load either....I Don't understand....I'm using the same HDLoader I've used previously. I also patched a new HDLoader for my PS2 and it's still not working properly....I'm all out of ideas on what to do
well then check your HDD try Scan & Repair
and did you formatted HDD or installed any games using HDLoader ?
I did try scanning and repairing a few times. I will try it again. Yes I have installed games through HDLoader, WinHIIP, and over FTP. I've been using it for a while and it seems ever sense FCMB I've been running into nothing but problems with it.
If the only thing you have done as far as changes go is install FMCB, did you try booting HDL with uLaunchELF and see if its working?
Also try the HDLOADER.ELF from the Noobie Package and see if it works.
SCPH-30001 [V4] - unmodded (2)
SCPH-30001-R [V5] DMS4 Pro SE
SCPH-50001-N [V9] CC 2.0 SLE
SCPH-79001 [V16] Silver - unmodded
also if its me i will use either WinHIIP 1.7.6 or HDLoader for installing and removing games .etc ..
Hi Icecold try make another hdloader.elf using HDLpatch v0.8b gui r2j in the corepatches do not check ''stop cdvd-drive motor after loading" it resolved your problem. Good luck...
I see to have got it. I have a V9. The only way it seems it will work is if I go through uLaunchELF and boot the HDLoader.ELF file I made. I'll mess around with it more here soon. Also, I do use WinHIIP v1.7.6 when I install or remove games.
