Which exact Action Replay MAX discs are compatible with Free McBoot?
Which exact Action Replay MAX discs are compatible with Free McBoot? –
The title says it all; I'd like to know which versions of Action Replay MAX and MAX EVO can be considered for exploits with Free McBoot via the PS1 Exploit and Media Player respectively.
I'm not sure but i think all versions of AR Max have the game save backup feature used for transferring the Independence Exploit to a PS2 memory card. You will also need a retail PS1 game to launch the exploit. It will only work on a fat PS2. Works on my version 9, Not tried it on my brothers version 10. I think it got fixed on the version 11.

Datel done away with the media player.
How can I be sure I don't get a V11?
v11 is the type of PS2 you have.... what model is your PS2?
136 installs , last on 16-NOV-2013
PS2 50002 PAL Silver
+ Network Adaptor + 500 Gig
Hitachi IDE + FMCB 1.8b
PS2 79002 PAL

I'll have to get back to you on that to find out which model the fat PS2 is, it's quite an old one though.
Just checked, and it's Model No. SCPH-50003, aka: Version 9.

The version 9 is my favorite fat model. It has built in remote sensor and support for DVD+R.
