i have instal FMCB 1.8 Multiversion om my MC n Success.
when i reset my PS2 SLIM (77006), the screen is blank (nothing FMCB logo)
what the problem?
How did you install FMCB? Did you use your own console to do it? If so, which method did you use?
If you didn't use your own console to install FMCB, what is the model number of the console that you used?
Does your console have a modchip? You might have to disable it first before booting up the console.

Make sure the contacts are clean, but I guess your MC has one or more of these faults:
-corrupt file-system-sectors
-corrupt hardware
-wrong size of partition (for example it is labeled as a 64MB-MC and a 32MB-Chip is inside).
-bad contact to the SLOT
or as spud42 said: it is simply tooooo slow.
I'm not sure if it really is so slow that this opperation doesn't work!?
Edit: 4Threads merged. ...are you serious?![]()
i'm sory for all.
because i very need your help.
so, forgive me.

I have success instal FMCB 1.8 MultiVersion in my MMC from my CONSOLE(77006) SLim.
but, when i reset my ps2, nothing FMCB logo.
i check in my mmc, n i open BAEXEC FOLDER.
there, nothing osdmain.elf.
why?
No. You didn't. If you had successfully installed it, what you say below should not happen.
You also mentioned several times in your earlier posts that you always get errors during install to your MC.
And any install during which you get any error messages must be reckoned as a total failure.
But since you mention few details about what you really did, we can't pinpoint your error.
However, given what kind of card you are working with, it could just be the MC quality that is too crappy for use.
I have five discarded 64MB MCs in a desk drawer here, that seemingly work for normal gamesaves, but always lose memory after some time. And with four of them an FMCB install will not even temporarily succeed. With the fifth of these MCs it does succeed, only to crash a few boot sessions later. Quite possibly you will simply have to accept, like I had to, that such Chinese MC clones simply are not good enough for any serious use, and certainly not for booting software.
This can happen for many minor flaws in the install, including making the install on another console of other model or region.but, when i reset my ps2, nothing FMCB logo.
Exactly how did you open that folder to check this ?i check in my mmc, n i open BAEXEC FOLDER.
there, nothing osdmain.elf.
And exactly what did you then see (assuming it had any content at all) ?
If the folder truly is empty, as seen by the uLaunchELF FileBrowser, then it is either because you never installed FMCB properly (even if you think you did), or else because the crappy clone MC just happened to forget about this content, like they are prone to do at times...why?
Best regards: dlanor
