    Hi everyone , i have a question to ask (woah... ) ...

I would like to burn a dvd9 game(hey, its YKZ II...NOT just any game ),but im not sure about the patching proccess.

Please tell me if the above steps are correct ( ):

    1) Patch the image using memento patcher
    2) Patch the image using DLPatcher
    3) Burn the game...
    4) Boot the game via E.S.R

Looks like a good game that one.

you have the right steps, but I always do the DL toxic patcher , then use the ESR disc patcher or memento if you prefer.

Burn to Verbatim DL DVD+R using imgburn.

Yes so far with DVD9 games, the brand and type do matter
At least that has been my experience and what I have read.

I would go with Verbatim DL DVD+R

I think you can set custom bit setting , and DVD BOOK TYPE.

Anyway , as for my case , i burned the game on VERBATIM DL DVD+R(i use them for xbox360, so i had a few lying around).

Yes basically it is because with DL DVD+R you can set the Booktype to DVD-ROM to make it more compatible with DVD players and PS2.

Nowadays most home DVD players are also compatible with DL DVD-R, but the PS2 I believe still prefers the +R at least in dual layer.

The Verbatim is chosen because its good media. I tried a Ritek DL DVD-R once and no luck, using a V14 PS2
