DVD+R discs?
Hi, we bought 25 Sony (YES the highest quality!) DVD+R discs, and I was wondering if there was ANY way they could work with my PS2? I have tried lower quality +Rs before, and the load times were killer; over 1 minute long! Not to mention slow FMV's and everything. I believe I read something about changing a setting, but is it possible that won't work with all models of PS2s? I have a 700012 USA console with Swap Magic Flip Top, both Swap Magic Discs (DVD and CD), and FreeMCBoot installed to both of my memory cards. Or do these models just not accept the +Rs?
I also have a couple of non-related questions:
1. Is it possible to inject custom music into certain games? For example, RPG Maker 3, I want some custom music on it; so I'd need to re-build an image after injecting this music; but how would I do that, if it's even possible?
2. My PS2 is getting old. My A/V cable connection is not going haywire. I can see wavy lines across the screen; I even tried another A/V cable and that didn't help any. I try wiggling the connection around to fine-tune it, but I can't get it just like it used to be. Is there ANY way I can fix this without having to buy another PS2?
Thanks for any and all help!
EDIT: Something I forgot to add, my two disc burners/drives are:
1. HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH22LS50 ATA Device (This is an LG lightscribe drive).
2. TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-S222A ATA Device (This is Lite-on or something like that; or maybe SuperWriteMaster).
I'd rather use #2 if possible (like to save #1 for lightscribing).

I HAVE ABOUT 200 PS2 WITH SOME PS1 BACKUP GAMES THAT WORK PERFECT BY THE SWAP MAGIC METHOD. I USE DVD DECRYPTER OR ALCOHOL 120 TO BURN THE GAMES AT 8X.
AS FAR AS DISCS, SONY IS NOT THE BEST TO USE, THEY ALMOST NEVER WORK RIGHT. THE ABSOLUTE BEST DISCS TO USE THAT ARE SOLD IN THE UNITED STATES ARE THE DATA LIFE SERIES -R MADE BY THE COMPANY CALLED VERBATIM. EVERY DECENT SIZED CITY SELLS THEM AT ONE STORE OR ANOTHER.
