I was wondering, can this be installed on a standard 8 MB Sony PS2 memory card or do you need a special brand? Thanks.

Of course, because these have NO Magic Gate circuitry at all...

And while the chinese fakes do support Magic Gate, they seem to dislike the flashing method used by the HDproject tool or the image we're flashing in them. lol

Had to state the obvious due to people continuously trying to figure out and report them.

I'm wondering if the cards that have multiple "8mb pages of memory" will be damaged by the flashing process. I'm sure they will work after they are flashed as both brands in the links below are officially licensed and sold at big box stores.

I have access to both brands at my local stores and can test one if they haven't been tried already.
Seems convenient to have a Free MC Boot, independence exploit, and 2 more memory cards for saves all in one package.
