Chinese AR3 Action Replay Clone - Will It work to install MCBOOT?

There is an action replay 3 clone on *********** that looks tempting... will this potentially work to install free mcbboot?

I am having trouble locating a compatible version of AR and if this would work it would be cost effective and easy to get...

The most cost effective is send it (mem card) to one of the pro installers. FREE!!!

No one here has used that. And most likely it is a poor rip off of Free MC Boot. Don't buy it. Just send a memory card to one of the installers. it'll cost a couple bucks to send it and a couple more to have them send it back with the software on it.

sorry newb here... how do i get in touch with an installer? there is a guy here in the city i live in that charges $40 which seems a tad high...

i was trying to be self-sufficient... I want to use the AR clone to make my own Free MC Boot memory card with a plain old 8MB original mem card.

ACCORDING to comments on the site, its a cheat device, so i dont think it will help you install free mc boot

$40 are crazy.......... FMCB.........The Key word is FREE!!!!!!

If you can get me that guys info, I will pass it on to the proper people, to get that stopped.. A clear violation of the User / Licence Agreement...

I wouldnt trust that ARMax clone, armax has enough of its own problems working properly with other PS2 software, i doubt a clone will be able to do a better job, probably cause more problems than its worth.

Okay I am not going to bother. I bought a 32MB AR mem card used (for $13.50) and I am going to attempt the swap method using Syphon Filter The Omega Strain (got it for $4.50)

Around here (Canada) EB Games sells Sony mem cards used for $25! Holy steep!

So hopefully it will all work...
