Best you can do is to contribute something, like a little function or something and show you wanna help improving FMCB.

About the logo:
The logo was added to show, who created it and for those who can´t compile it on their own.
Those who can, probably are also able to replace the Images correctly.
Another reason was the OSD-Hack (...you see... Only a preview in 1.5 and functional in 1.6 for the first time, so it deserves a logo. ) and all options, which were added in 1.6
Users which can´t compile are bound to see the logo then (but see, what they get...).
Users which can compile it, can do it for their own personal education, or entertainment.
They even could give it to friends, as long as they do not provide it to public with changed logo, which do not match the licence anymore.
The person we were talking about previously, just ripped out Logo and OSD-Stuff.
Well,... I think some things can be accomplished with structual changes, rather than ripping off/out already available features.
It is just a simple logo, shown for a few seconds (and thus users which can´t compile it on their own have a sign, that it is working).
