I have successfully installed FMCB (v 1.8b) on a 64MB MAX Memory , and it works fine. The problem is when I try to save any game on that memory card, the game always returns me a "failed to save", "error saving"...

I formatted the memory card BEFORE installing FMCB (with the FMCB installer).

The memory has now also a strange behavior with ULE, which gives me too a "paste failed" if I try to copy something on the memory, and after that all the files disappear from the screen, and ULE shows the memory as empty (but it's not).

If I format the memory again (with the FMCB installer), but I don't install it, I can save my games again with no errors.

How can I fix this? I would really like to use this memory for both savegames and FMCB.

    This is the memory:

Try formatting the card with this program.I have that card too and I have more than 25mb saves on it.I start using FMCB from 1.7 and on any version till(1.8b)now I don't have any problems saving.

PS.After pressing the start button nothing will happen to let you know that the formatting is started but it is,when it's ready then a message will appear. After that try to install FMCB again but don't format.

Anyway,... He could try ffgrievers tool MCA (Anihilator?!).
The same MC works for one of my friends in all cases.

He could also try the Memory Plus Manager 64 (RUNME) , it formats 64MB Codejunkie cards, made by Datel.

Maybe Datel has changed their cards to not allow the Sony update folder to work with other saves on the card...if its a new card they just put out on the market, im sure they see FMCB as a threat to sales for them.

So far, I can try formatting with:

    -MCFormat
    -ffgrievers tool MCA
    -Memory Plus Manager 64 (RUNME)

Where can I get the last two?
Will my memory card be a 64 mb card after the format? (I mean if there's no risk for the card)

    Thanks for the answers.

(By the way, it's she, not he)

Jepp, MCA seems to be the best solution.
It seems to fix MCs properly in most cases (even if they have bad sectors).
Maybe it deletes the MC-Partition completely, create a new one and format it instead of only formatting it.
I think it was mentioned somewhere.

    Sorry 'bout "he".
