Hi. I own a slim PS2 (model no. SCPH-70012) with an 8MB memory card. I just softmodded it using tape and paper (along with my PS1) and now I'm new to Free McBoot. I downloaded the Noobie Package version of it, and transferred it to my brother's DaneElec 4GB thumbdrive (with uLaunchELF, HDLoader, SMS and Open PS2 Loader (GSM) included as apps), but unfortunately, when I inserted the thumbdrive to the PS2 with the Noobie Package transferred and turned it on, I can't see Free McBoot on the browser menu as if I'm unable to install it. Then I burned the Noobie Package to a CD-R using CDGenPS2 and inserted it in my system (even with the game swap trick), but it can't read it too. Instead, I get the red "Please insert a PlayStation or PlayStation 2 format disc" screen.
Can someone please help me on this issue? I need to install Free McBoot to run PS1 and PS2 backups and add an emulator through FTP. I'd especially appreciate you to send something helpful to my home address.
