Cannot run Boot.Elf using AR Max Evo Media Player Method

Hey everyone, I need some detailed instruction and encouragement. Any suggestions is extremely appreciated. I keep getting a black screen in Max Media using the AR Max Pendrive
16mb (this came with AR Max). I heard about it's usb device compatibility issues, and file system should be FAT32. Some other ways tried was, putting file (packed_fceu.elf) in the root of the pendrive and just the install folder and boot.elf in the root memory duo of a sony256mb card / psp fat using USB connection. This is starting to get frustrating, that should actually be simply/fun.
Im boggled if the ar maxdrive 16gb only be used to transfer ps2 codes is my problem?

(Equipment Ps2 SCPH-50001, PSP 1st Generation 1000)
My memory card is also Official Sony 8gb.
