Please excuse the stupid question, I made the memory card a long time ago and can't remember anything. I left my ps2 in my girlfriend's and it's mysteriously stopped reading discs.

So if I buy a new ps2 can I use that memory card to boot backups on it?

    Thanks.

If it is looong time ago, then you have a "fat" one?? If so, have you the networkadapter and a HDD in your PS2??

Cause you can play over internal HDD, USB-HDD, or SMB (LAN) with OPL by converting your games in .iso or .ul (USBUtil/Extreme-format) on HDD....

My FMCB memory card works on any other fat PS2 that I've tried it on. I've never tried a slim.

Well if you are using 1.8b normal install should work on most systems in your region
if complete install all in your region

and if using 1.8c it is region free so should work in the whole world

    V10 SCPH-50001 with Network adapter SCPH-10281 500 G HD
    PSP 3000 9G 6.20 PRO CFW Perm
Unofficial FMCB v1.8C OPL self compiled HD and SMB preferred
Is how all good gaming systems came to be
