Can I play ntsc games on my pal ps2 when I have free MCboot on my mc?

I have free MCboot on my memory card and i just wanted to know whether i could play ntsc games using it (as i have a pal ps2).

A quick answer would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah you can, as long as you have ESR Patched Disks and ESR installed on your MC. Also you should have a semi-modern tv which can cater to both area codes.:)

If you meant "ESR patcher" by saying "normal patcher" then yes.

When ESR-patching a game ISO, the ESR patch must always be the last of all patches applied before burning the ISO to disc.

That's true, but I believe the patcher works both ways..

NTSC to PAL, and PAL to NTSC..

I might be mistaken though...

never needed it myself but i remember reading that there were two programs NTSC->PAL and PAL->NTSC....

but this wont be the first time i get proven wrong...lol
P.S. on a private note bothe the mem cards i got from you are working just fine...
