1.5 bsods on 77004 pal.

It works fine here. The slim PStwo I bought recently is a PAL 77004 console, just like you say, and I have no problems with FMCB v1.5 on it.

1.4b does not work either. regardless of whether dvdelf.bin and boot.elf are provided or not.

I never tried that version myself...

installation was attempted via swapmagic disk.

I used an earlier version of FMCB to boot uLE, and then launched the FMCB v1.5 installer from uLE.

strange. i've tried to help remotely, i don't have physical access to the console.

Are you sure that the guy at the other end is doing what you tell him correctly ? The majority of all complaints boil down to user errors in the end...

Quick bug report for the new FMCB configurator for the new betas.

Basically, the option to return to the loading application doesn't work for me. It pops up a message saying it can't get to MC1:/BIDATA-SYSTEM/BOOT.ELF ... what's particularly interesting about that particular message is that I run a US PS2, so it should be checking BADATA.

FMCBoot v1.5 successfully installed and working on a Fat 50001 and slim ps2 but the same MC give BSOD with a 30001 console, any idea.

Neither RESCUE.ELF is detected on a pendrive.

30001 which reports 1.10 browser will look for osd120.elf
30001 which reports 1.20 browser will look for osd130.elf
All other US consoles will look for osdmain.elf

Pal v3 must work, I dev the program on this type of ps2 .

jimmikaelkael, I investigated about this problem...
I have a V9 and a V4 scph 50004 and scph 35004 and it works perfect with them...

My uncle has a V3 scph 30004 and a friend of mine has a 30004 too...
When I tested in my friend ps2 I had the same problem that I had with my uncle ps2: it loads Ule but when launching ESR it shows the logo but then there is only a black screen...

So I investigated about this problem, I tried to install all old versione of fmcb including 1.2c with ffgriever runme.elf...
At the end I got that the multi-version 1.5 is the best...
Anyway... It's strange that I tested it with about 10 games and ONLY ONE worked fine (Need For Speed Most Wanted in english)...
All other games didn't work...
So I tried to discover which is the problem and I found that when ESR remains black it doesn't find the disc...
So I tried to read the disc with other elf as Ule and SMS and I think I got the problem: also with them the CDVD doesn't read!

Not happy again, I tried to rip DVDELF.bin from the V3 (but I installed the multi version in the v3 too, so it has to be not useful..) and to put it in my USB Stick INJECT folder, also if I think I made some error, because nothing changed (as I thought)...

Now I am trying to discover if I can do something with modules but I don't know them a lot...

What do you think?

Loading FMCB 1.6 from mc1 causes it to not check the usb. Unless I am doing something wrong? D:
I figured the modules would have the same compatibility for usb access as regular FMCB 1.5 had for loading from usb using either mc slot.

No I just made a mistake in code, it's just check twice for usb drivers on mc0, but skips mc1...

Nice report, i'm using FMCB in MC1 also but didn't try it yet.
