It's weird, I have been playing games over network for months now with a mini laptop, and crossover cable, everything was fine until a few days ago, and then, my games just wouldn't load, I have tried just about everything I can think of, with no positive results. I'm out of options. I have tried different computers, different cables, different PS2s, different storage devices, even formatted my laptop, did a fresh install of XP, and formatted my memory card and did a fresh install for FMCB and OPL, with the same results. No settings have been changed on either the Laptop or PS2, because after I got it to work, I saved everything as is, and every time I start network, my computer says connected, bet no list of games appear under network. So since I have ruled out everything, it seems the problem could be anything. Any help, suggestions, or info would be appreciated.

I have had problems that permissions have got reset by XP especially if you copy a game to folder or past it in the folder which makes XP stop showing all
game so set your permission again on PS2SMB shares
I know it is a pain that is why I rip my games directly to DVD or CD folder
I hope this helps
BTW if you use Game Booster make sure to uncheck server and network awareness be for boost

V10 SCPH-50001 with Network adapter SCPH-10281 500 G HD
PSP 3000 9G 6.20 PRO CFW Perm
Unofficial FMCB v1.8C OPL self compiled HD and SMB preferred
Is how all good gaming systems came to be

I finally got it working, still not 100% sure what was wrong but I think it was XP messing me up. Thanks.
