Is it possible to have FMCB automatically boot an ELF on startup? Like instead of the Menu that currently loads?
If so, how?
Thanks,
Monk

Yes set it to do so in the config.
I just answered this same question....somewhere......and you can set Auto: in the Configure E? launch keys..., its the very top choice for all 3, just run the fmcb Configurator.
And if you dont want to have anything display in the OSD menu, just remove all the Items from :
Configure OSDSYS Options... > OSD Settings menu: > Configure Item:
Just make them all blank and nothing will display except the regular Browser and System Configuration.![]()

Awesome. Thanks JNABK.
Sorry if you answered this already. Didn't find any other posts..
There is no option to add that to the OSD menu, as its hard coded into the apps that have that option and FMCB does not have this in its core afaik.
If its not any trouble to add, maybe it will be a consideration for the next release.
Not to worry, as i might have answered on another forum, they get 'blurred' after a while...lol

Should not be too hard to wright an app that dose nothing but turn off the PS2.
One funny way of doing it is to have FMCB launch a copy of uLE in a separate folder with a local LAUNCHELF.CNF, with that uLE having the local CNF set up to launch "MISC/PS2PowerOff" as "Default:" and with "'Default' Timeout:" set to "0". The effect will be that uLE will turn the PS2 off as soon as it has initialized.
(Some overkill...)

Exactly.
I think, it needs the DEV9, or HD-Modules.If its not any trouble to add, maybe it will be a consideration for the next release.
Maybe dlanor could explain it better, if he wants to. ^^
I think, it isn´t to hard to occupy the function for FMCB, but I´m not sure if it will match (into) the osdmain.elf.
Just a thought, how-to:
--> Externalize OSD-Hack as seperate ELF, to free some space in core.
--> Add HOST&HD-Support to the core&external OSD-Hack (be it directly in this ELF, or HD-Support only through the old method...).
--> ...then Poweroff-Function...
Sorry, I´m a bit rusty yet.
Didn´t slept a lot.
Hope it is explained well and not to syphered.
