Well I have a MC Boot that currently boots on my NTSC-U console. I was wondering if there's anyway I can make it boot on my NTSC-J console without the need of a swapmagic, ar, etc?
I originally got my NTSC-U MC Boot from a friend: He sent me his memory card that had the exploit on it, booted uLoader and then booted FREE_MCBOOT.ELF, then installed via NORMAL INSTALL through the Installer to one of my memory cards.
The only way to get FMCB to work on your NTSC-J console is to have it installed to a MC from a NTSC-J console by running the FMCB Installer from it.
Thanks, I guess that means I need to get Japanese AR etc if i want it on a ntsc-j console =-
No, it means you need a .jp console, not a .jp program. If you run AR.jp on a PS2.us, it still won't work.Quote:

As long as your NTSC-J isn't a slim PS2, you can just do the PS1 exploit on it. So you would need a PS1 trigger disc to tigger the exploit. After that you can run the FCMB installer.
