AHX MusicDisk strangeness
AHX MusicDisk strangeness –

Not a real important topic but just an observation. I downloaded the AHX MusicDisk and put it on USB as BOOT/AHXMUSIC.ELF, and set up my FreeMCBoot to find it.
If I boot the PS2 with the USB plugged in, and launch AHX MusicDisk, the music does not play and the D-Pad does not work (but it is not frozen because the text scrolls on the bottom)
If I boot the PS2 with the USB plugged in, then wait for FreeMCBoot to launch, and unplug and re-plug the USB stick at the FreeMCBoot menu, then launch AHX MusicDisk, it works, loading the initial track and the D-Pad works. At least for a little while, until I load certain (random?) tracks, then behaves as previously described.
Not sure what is causing this but if anyone has any ideas or has worked around this please let me know, I love chiptunes.
Using FreeMCBoot 1.8c.

I don't have a collection of chiptunes myself, so I was using the AHX MusicDisk elf since it had a bunch embedded in them. Or is there a way to extract them from the ELF and play them in SMS?
