Some China-Clones have problems generating a valid MCID (work properly with FMCB 1.8), but those MCs which are shown in the PS2-Browser (without a boot-disc; just plug&play) should work with FMCB.

    PS2 V7/CC1.0 (FW:34 hacked v2 BM:2.1.6); Maxtor DiamondMAX9 PLUS 160GB

I'm raher disappointed in any user who doesn't provide details. They've done a stellar job on pushing the envelope of kicking a dead dog.

Actually I got a 64MB memory card (plug & play china) that doesn't work ...

However with the new FMCB 1.8 it works so if anyone got a non working card... DON'T TROW IT AWAY just wait for version 1.8 and it will work just like any other memory card

Yepp. Just said, that all plug&play-mc´s should work with FMCB.
Though there might a low chance, that it still doesn´t create a valid ID on those, but I doubt it (for version 1.8).

With 1.8 all plug&play-cards should work.

Once it´s done, the new GUI-Installer will be great.
    Jimmi had a nice idea.
It also combines advantages, from the old and new installer.

I still hope for real Num+7-Char.-Support in the configurator. ^^
I have an idea in mind, but also trust suloku (if he´ll do it).
