What kind of "special" files?

Here are the official tutorials and the release-download + the Nooby-Package, which contains the most popular apps.

You must have a way to EXECUTE (NOT copy) Homebrew on a PS2, which is from the same region as yours (SCPH-XXX04).

I installed the 39004 unable to enter the seven stars, after FMCB 1.8b screen, it can not display the following procedures to select the menu map.

What happens after the install?
Does it hang on the logo, or does it loop the logo, or something?
Do you have a modchip installed?

Try to start the configurator (hold start on boot-up/while logo) and re-save the config.

If that don´t work, rename the BOOT.ELF of the Nooby-Package to "RESCUE.ELF" and put it on your USB-Device. It should automatically start.
...or copy the Nooby-Package to the root of your Stick, rename "FREE_MCBOOT.ELF" to "RESCUE.ELF" and reinstall FMCB 1.8b.

Also the "Troubleshooting"-Section of the official guides might help you.

my 39004 have installed the machine can read pirated CDs, do not know if this is the reason for the emergence and Free MCboot the machine are not compatible with the phenomenon?

I guess he either didnt read the main page of the FMCB guides, or Google didnt translate it well enough.

Should i make it a bit bigger........?
