I've been out of the scene for roughly one and a half to two years, and I have to admit I'm impressed with how far this has actually gotten.

I do have a few questions, though, based on lack of available information. These questions pertain to the 1.2b build.

What exactly is changed in the uLaunchElf you include in the package? For that matter, how exactly is the HDLoader launch in Misc handled? I'd quickly noticed that the included HDL was not only not centered for my NTSC TV, but not in English. So, I figured I'd try to swap it out for a pre-built, working HDL build I'm already using. Surprise-- I can't seem to actually find it on the memory card.

Any details on how I can rework this would be appreciated.

That hacked version of uLaunchELF (aka: uLE) has the HDL elf embedded in the main binary, just like the proper uLE binary handles some device drivers, so that is why you can't find HDL as a separate file. But you can see it indirectly, as increased size of the uLE binary.

The best thing for you to do is to simply replace the BOOT.ELF with one from a real uLaunchELF release package (to be found in its own forum on this site), and then use it to launch whatever HDL elf you please.

    Best regards: dlanor

I'd like to reaffirm dlanor's suggestion to replace the hacked uLE with the latest stable version. It fixed some weird USB stick incompatibility that I was having. At first I thought the Free MC Boot was messing it up, but it turned out my problems went away after switching to the official version.
