I am temperarily on hold due to an ice storm knocking out my power and cable, I am reporting from work at the moment where we have generator backup (I'm kinda sleeping at work aswell)

Any Canadians out there who need this install on their memory cards can certainly trust ps2dragon. I found a good deal on a genuine card on ebay and had the seller mail it to ps2dragon from the US. Then I mailed him a return envelope and he sent me the modified new card. Great communication and service.

One tip for everyone, instead of using a bubble envelope and risking having your card discovered and stolen in the mail, I'd recommend my method. Take one of your game cases, strip out all the booklets, inserts, and game of course, and put your memory card in the slot holder. Your local office product retailer sells a manila envelope (not bubble) that fits a DVD case perfectly. $2 to mail it each way in Canada. Probably similar in US (or cheaper). Now your card is stealthily making it's way through the mail disguised as a DVD.

lol and dishonest people wouldn't steal a DVD would they...ha ha ha.. seriously has anyone had a card stolen in the mail? there is always registered post.....costs more but there is proof it got there.....

@bayroad1: you're welcome, glad I was able to help out.

So far I've done two installs. The first was for tiffany101 and the second for bayroad. I just wanted to make sure they were happy with their install before becoming a confirmed installer for Canada. Right now I'm happy just being a backup if sprete isn't available, but if the demand is there or if someone specifically wants me to help them, I am available.

EDIT: Ok, I decided to be listed as an official installer, so anyone needing this service in Canada just send me a PM.

Thanks Buddy i made magic-(magic gate) with barto443 when u sent card back seeing as i live over the road from barto , we were trying lots of different ways to bend said mem stick, until we got ur help. thanks again for showing us the ps2 is still alive,,full stripes pepsi_max2k

pootable sent you one too?? i sent one to Tamworth this morning....lol got it last night... my first official FMCB install !!!!!!!!!!
