For now I only can install fmbc on ps2 zone xxx01 (USA)

actually, no, it wouldn't. but we can add what consoles volunteers have if they supplied the info

Well, just asked aar36095 to send me pre-install FMCB w/ USB key all ready to play on my system. Will give you all an update when I get the goods.

Hello to you all. It's good to meet everyone.

I discovered the PS2 homebrew scene a while back but in all that time I haven't been able to understand a single installation/boot tutorial, not even the basics of the basics. The amount of details you have to keep track of in each process is just too much for me. So yeah, I'm hopeless.

I'm glad there are some real experts here. I'll PM one of you guys about what I want to do with Free MC Boot and other things; hopefully someone here can help me. Just as a side note, I'm very specific about what I want even though I can't do it my damn self: It's one of my more annoying qualities, so try not to lose your patience. LOL

The one important thing I want to ask first is about my console. I have a slim PS2 with a modchip installed (don't know what brand of chip); is that going to be a problem?

I have also asked aar36095 to do my card, and we corresponded via PMs for a short period. I have sent my card to him as requested, however, he has not responded to my PMs since. I am not worried or suspicious at the moment (and am not attempting to draw suspicious either), as it is the weekend and I only sent the card out earlier in the week, but I will keep you posted.
