I take it this means you just installed using an SCPH-70004 for a UK user with an SCPH-xxx03 console, which makes this an important test case not just for that combination, but for all cases where a region has more than one possible set of final digits in the product code. I'm not aware of anyone having reported results for that yet.
@Duke Buckingham:
Please let us now how it works out ASAP, as future installs may depend on it, both for the UK and some other regions.

Thanks TehJawknee!, All I can say is awesome and a great service.
Thanks TehJawknee,
My last PM should have my name on it if you are unsure. Thanks for your help.
Hey guys,
I've got a tricky one for you!
I had Free MCboot 1.8b installed on my mem card for a PAL 390002 old fat ps2
Worked well for a week - I even installed USB advance onto it and played a few games off my usb drive perfectly fine.
I plugged in my Gcon2 gun (memory card and controller connection + usb connection) and after using it i put the mem card with mcboot back in it and it wouldn't boot.
I took it back to the bloke who installed it - and after a week he couldn't get it to work.
He said that every time he re installed it, the machine would boot once, then do something to the mem card that rendered it useless. He reckoned he tried 3 different mem cards and they all did the same thing.
He also said my usb wasn't working (which wasn't true as i've since retested it with buzz and singstar and its fine)
So....
Has anyone heard of this before? or have any ideas if theres any way to lock a mem card once free mcboot is installed to stop the ps2 from writing to it and/or altering the data?
Maybe I should just get Free Mcboot installed again onto a different mem card.
Spud42 i'm thinking of sending my card to you - but if it's useless then I wont worry.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

You can see my equipment + I have this guncon2 and I did most of the tests I“ve done with this Light-Gun connected.
I never really heard of that kind of issue, sorry.I took it back to the bloke who installed it - and after a week he couldn't get it to work.

I also didn“t ever saw it myself.
If we“re able to repeat it, we might find the trigger and bug.
@Sir Buckingham: Your memory card is on it's way back to you via Deutsche Post/DHL![]()
