VMC compatibility –
Such a question
How well does it work i already manged to break my 64mb MC with it, so i learned to have one slot empty and i the other a MC with FMCB+OPL.
But i'm not sure of the risk i'm thinking of creating 1 generic card with 64mb, i have only one game that doesn't like 64mb and at the same time it doesn't like VMC MGS3S but i'm risking losing all saves in case of a fail, or i can create a VMC for each game but that will take some space about 1gig not really a problem, but just interested in it compatibility with games.
THX i CYA
If you are worried about losing game saves then the obviously best solution is to have individual VMC files for each game, which is what I do myself. This way no incompatible game is likely to mess up game saves of any other game, as OPL won't have opened the VMC files containing those saves. And with individual VMC there is never any reason to use more than 8MB for each, which is also the best choice for compatibility reasons.

Remember that you only need one 8MB VMC for each game, and with an average game ISO size of appx 2GB this comes to 8/2048 == 1/256 or appx 0.39%... And modern good games weigh in at even more than 2GB on average, thus lowering that percentage even further.
In any case, I refuse to worry about a storage increase of less than half a percent.
