I be using openps2loader for while but using the network due to the slim version I have the 6.0 version.
I finally got a fat ps2 with network adapter. I have IDE harddrive. I want to use the new version 7.0 or should stay with 6.0 or rev.
I been searching here for a guide but there to many and don’t know what is the best advice.

I want to know how to setup the fat ps2 with the ide hard drive. Did I still need the 8mb memory card insert all the time for the openps2loader.

    Thanks

V6 does not support HDD. V7 does. So I suggest using V7.

And yes, you do need the memory card plugged in at all times.

You really need to do a search on this since it's been answered many times.

The best OPL guide is linked at the top of every page of these forums. Everything you need is in it.
