I don't really get what it is good for?
I mean it's good for people who don't have a network adapter, but this item is "converts" the ethernet connection to an usb device.
Why don't you directly for an USB-HDD instead?
EDIT:
This or that way, it still uses USB 1.1 there won't be any speed advantage. And as jimmikaelkael already explained it won't work with OPS2L anyways.

Thanks, you explained it far better than I does.

Doesn't matter someone already used it !!! it was not with Open PS2 Loader you see ?
You did not mention the IOP core will not work at the last post.
"it will get stucked on white after a Pink screen."
You tried it already ? but you did not want to tell people you have tried it because it is not a developer's invention ?

You posted only 6 posts, I think you do not come to this forum so frequently, so you did not know what I talked about.
This non sony network adaptor is a rather valuable replacement for the sony network adaptor and if it's compatiable with openusbld_0.6, it can run the SMB network games which speed is faster than using USB HDD.

Why don't you want to heard what I'm saying ?
IT CAN'T RUN SMB games !
Please stop to say it can.
And please don't deny that USB hardware will limit SMB transfer speed.

Man, why don't you just buy it try it, come and tell us the result, so we can all have a good laugh and say "told you so" ? You're asking a question, it is answered a way that does not fit your intention, and you argue. So what was the point in asking this question if you're not gonna listen ?
Anyway, this raises another question : will this adapter still work with games that normally support it ? I'm guessing there probably is some interference with the USB reading, like mics or eyetoy already do, and furthermore the USB bandwidth would be shared between loading the game and network support, but it still could work with some games.

Hey man, have you read every post clearly ? I told I will buy it but I will not post the result here now. Why I argued with others ? I posted a question if it is possible, but most of you answered in a VERY UN-FRIENDLY WAY including you thinking that I' m not make sense and look down on me ? So, I should answer in the same manner ! YOU understood ? Monsieur !

Dont bother buying anything. As I said I have one of those network adapters and just tried it with Open PS2 Loader. Guess what? It did NOT work! It freezes at network loading: 1 and thats it.

Well, I can't see how anyone's reaction can be seen as being rude, except for those exasperated answers after having clearly explained why it would not work and getting no comprehension. And I don't think telling a user who is perfectly right that having only posted 6 times he can't talk about this matter is really friendly either.
