Your guides good but I'm not sure if anyone recently has tried downloading Loki's version lately but some files are no longer available on some of the hosts and to make matters worse some of the files are corrupted. Yoshi314's alternative works better but I had major issues getting it to work with USB or to even use a shared dir because the script failed to copy anything to the USB or shared dir.

I'd love it if you posted a guide on getting that version to work as its much MUCH smaller, less of a hassle to download, and it brings up the command terminal right away which makes it much easier for any user to use this guide.

Other than that it deserves a sticky.

*QUICK EDIT* Oh and don't forgot the crc/md5 checksum files.

The guides are ok, the main problem is that there are already two stickies about this and the information, although not noobie friendly or condensed is on loki's thread.

Maybe you could've added this info on that thread so that it could be added to the first page eventually.

You can easily use this info for yoshi's VM, just a tiny change here and there.

Yep, I'm now under 10.10 (maverick) on my laptop, but I used to use 10.04 to build OPL, so yeah you can, check this guide:
