    I have the oportunity to buy one 1.5 TB HDD Samsung, on 5400 RPM, and i wish to pack on him everything i got for PS2 games, but, is the speed important, what is the minimum speed for HDD to work normally on PS2 ?

    I really don't think the PS2 device drivers are fast enough to take any real advantage of the faster drives. And their higher speeds for all physical operations can cause extra problems in the form of excessive power requirements and overheating.
