i have some questions guys:
1.can you transfer data from the physical memory card to the VMC,if so then how?
2.can i convert a downloaded save to a VMC?
i'm asking because i have one card and i want to copy wrestlers from the fire pro wrestling game by combining saves but this requires 2 memory cards

We have no good tools for perfect repeated updating of a VMCs content from physical MCs or other gamesave files.
uLaunchELF (== uLE) v4.42a can do the job well for exporting contents of VMC to MC or other storage, but its ability to import gamesaves into a VMC is limited, as it will fail whenever it tries to overwrite anything old, or to write anything new after deleting something old. There is some basic bug in the VMC device driver of uLE, affecting how deleted file sectors are released and reallocated for other use. So the only semi-reliable way of using uLE to transfer stuff into a VMC file, is to start each time with a clean VMC, fresh as created by OPL.
Then you can use the uLE FileBrowser commands "Mount vmc0:" or "Mount vmc1:" with that file selected, which will add the corresponding device name "vmc0:/" or "vmc1:/" to the device root list of the FileBrowser, and at the same time the FileBrowser also navigates into the root of that new device.
After this mounting you can use this VMC device as target for uLE FileBrowser "Paste" or "psuPaste" operations, for copying gamesaves to it from physical MCs or external PSU gamesave files respectively.
Once you have transferred what you wanted to the VMC device, you need to unmount it so that the file is closed after the writing, and this is easiest done simply by pressing 'select' to exit from the FileBrowser to the main menu of uLE. This will guarantee that the file was closed after flushing all pending write operations to the file. If you exit the program or disconnect the drive holding the VMC file (like on a USB drive) without first closing the VMC file this way, it will most likely be corrupted.
Even though this may seem to work problem-free, be aware that the bugs I mentioned above are very real, so if you attempt to delete anything in a mounted VMC and then write new saves to it, or simply overwrite an old save with a different version named the same, the VMC will definitely become corrupted, so just don't do that kind of thing.

I would like to use this thread also to ask how do you start a new and fresh VMC ?
and if I got your information right if I start a new VMC fresh, copy all the content from my real MC, close the uLaunch session, and stop using my MC just to use my VMC stored in my HD it will work for good, right ?

OPL by the pressing triangle in the list of games.

Dlanor as himself said, there is a driver bug in the VMC, which allows only export saves from VMC to MC physical, but the opposite is true for the data corruption if you try to put saves in VMC.
in short you can only export saves from VMC with Ule.

Great
I just need now for the games to show up on OPL just as I've posted on my other thread and I'm ready to go.
Let's hope for a solution that doesn't include ripping 48 DVD games
