This project looks really promising but I had some questions. I'm sorry if this has been asked already.

    1) From what I read you can load games over network. I'm just wondering is the PS2 network adapter 10Mbit or 100Mbit?

    2) Can't you guys use some of the HDLOADER source for this project as this seems to have better compatibility than USB ADVANCE?

I wonder about hdloader's compatibility skill, too. I'm not familiar with ps2 architecture, but did anyone try to disassemble the hdloader ever? Even if it is assembler code, it may be useful. But AFAIK, the main problem of the usb loaders is the transfer rate of usb1.1. But hdloader doesn't has such a problem.

Well, HDL doesn't have the limitation of USB 1.1 since it doesn't use usb. It uses ATAD and DEV9 drivers to access the IDE bus of the PS2.

Ok, but what is the speed of the PS2 network adapter in the slim ps2? Is that 100Mbit?
