Some Games Stutter? Help?

I have OPL .9 and games like FFX and Okami stutter badly, but only in Cutscenes and Videos. Help?

A little more info: I put it in mode 1 then 2 and their is no difference, I defragmented my USB HDD every time I put a new game on.

It is just a fact that PS2 USB is slower then the original PS2 DVD reads so expect slower loading and stuttering that is a hardware limitation not OPL doing it

No way thru usb but could try those games by SMB mode or if you have Phat PS2 network adapter and Hard drive you could try
I know those games don't stutter with internal Hard drive

If you want to try with usb their is alternative but not sure if it will fix the problem try this loader

Okay, I own a Phat PS2, where do I buy a Hard Drive and a network adapter, I see some on ebay but I want to buy them together, so any websites anyone recommends?

I couldn't find any Hard drive the size I wanted
I had couple smaller Hard drives before got network adapter so didn't look for bundle

I recommend any but Western Digital reson is you have to modify the network adapter to get it to work not good

Both look good but kind of small Hard drive but not bad price on it

Just wish I could see the pins on it not sure if that will work but should

And use that?

I just looked for specs on that and looks good to go

What is funny that has same specs as mine if so no UDMA mode 6 it runs to fast so OPL don't like it
but at mode 5 it runs like 6
