SMB Netowkr Config on Windows 7
SMB Netowkr Config on Windows 7 –
Okay, I'm new here,so please don't scream at me. D;
I just got a PS2 slim in the mail with a dead drive, so, I'm going to use it with Open Ps2 Loader and the SMB option.
I have Windows 7 and a removable hard drive. I right clicked on the removable hard drive and shared it as "PS2SMB" as all the tutorials have said. (I'm sharing the actual drive with that share name, not the folder)
I have a straight ethernet cord going from my ps2 to the router. I have the router hooked up to my DSL modem.
But it's not working. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm installing the games with USBUtil 2.0 and getting all the correct files (including the ul.cfg)
I can play via USB, but, everytime I try to load up the network it counts down and just satays at "Network Connection 1" or wahterver. It doesn't freeze...it just stops.
Please help. D;
Update: Now whenever I try to load USB games it gets stuck at the Yellow screen. D;

I just bookmarked that almighty page. I kept going there, but, couldnt find the tutorial.
It's working now. I had to set up port forwarding on my router and change the ip address to match my computer's.
I appreciate the help. Time to enjoy the PS2. ; D
