hi there! my "problem" is as follows:
I'm using OPL 0.7 @ my PS3 Launch Console (60GB PAL) with a share @ Windows 7 prof. 32 bit on my PC connected via 100MBit LAN with router (or alternatively: crossover 100 MBit direct connection)

actually SMB works fine for me... I can see every game, I can play all games BUT I can't get any speed gain out of SMB which kinda sux i've tried it via router with 2 long cables and thought "ah.. maybe it's because of data loss/whatever..." so i connected directly to my ps3 via crossover cable... also worked but still the same problem: i've got the same speed like playing directly via USB... same fmv stuttering etc... (which is kinda the main problem).

so... any suggestions why it is like that and maybe any solutions?
since i'm not completely aware of the compatibility modes: is any of them skipping fmv in general? smth like that would be nice since i dont care for fmvs that much... and it would make games "playable" at least... (especially in games where you can't skip fmvs... like God of War / God of War 2)
another solution would be better though since some stories are really great and then you don't wanna miss all of the videos...

thx in advance for any helpful comments and big thx for developing such a great program! and sorry for my bad english

edit: mode 2 and 4 didnt help..

Yeah this problem seems to be known. But jimmi edited the SMB Core a lot since the 0.7 release, so try to compile the latest build of OPL or wait until 0.8 comes out.

I also hope the new SMB Core code fixes some stuff for me, but I'm thankfull with the USB support, it works great for me
