SMB help

I tried doing SMB with the guide at the top but I couldn't get it working.
I have all the basic needs of PS2 and I can play backups with direct external HDD. and my PS2 is connected to wireless router receiver.

Here is what I did.

1.Install OPL 0.7 on my MC
2.Share a external hard drive on my PC
-right click, properties, share, advanced share, share name=PS2SMB, everyone = read.
3.goto OPL check the network settings.
4.start network games but freezes at count down 1

im thinking I should plug my ps2 directly to my router.

make sure you adjust your gateway ip settings to match your router in the OPL settings menu.
