    So i'm curious.

    I don't have a PS3 60Gb, but i was thinking in one thing.

For people with PS2 and NA internal disc and PS3.

it's possible that ps3 can read the games on a internal drive of the ps2 via ethernet cable(with ps2link or exect ftp or else) ? making the ps2 working like some NAS device or something ???

it could be a very stupid question, and without any advantage, but i was curious about it.

I doubt you can get a PS2 to act like a NAS without some serious app being written to run on the PS2 , so it can allow SMB to work. Its much easier to just use that same PS2 to run OPL, as i cant see any reason to use it from PS2 > PS3 > TV screen.
    PS2 Consoles:
    SCPH-30001 [V4] - unmodded (2)
    SCPH-30001-R [V5] DMS4 Pro SE
    SCPH-50001-N [V9] CC 2.0 SLE
    SCPH-79001 [V16] Silver - unmodded

I agree with you, but it was just curious about this possibility.

the only advantage that i can see is the use of better graphics options in PS3 to use on ps2 games, but i agree that it's much easier to simple use the PS2 for it.
