To optimize loading time, I suggest to Use "PngOptimizer", which is available for windows.

It is able to shrink pngs without loosing any quality by up to 87%. Most images, especially the big ones get 20 to 40% smaller.

This is possible, because color for invisible images is stored, even if they are useless.

The entire NJoy-Skin gets smaller by 50KB, which is around 16%.

I tried it but there is almost no difference at all in the size between the original image and the optimized(4kb less)
With Pain.Net saving four ~120kb images(466kb totals size)to 8bit and then to 32bit,made them ~60kb(230kb total size)with almost no visible quality loss when you look at them in OPL.

And if I try to optimize those small images optimized by Paint.Net with PngOptimize,I'll end up with even smaller files but that's because for some reason the program decides that I want them 8bit

hi guys! ji ust got bored waiting for new opl theme to came out, so i've decided to modify an opl theme from fresh called N-JOY 2.61 final and renamed it to an appropriate name which is "Chrome".

Thank you for your contribution! I just tested this. I notice that this one doesn't support the Game Icons? Is this right? Before testing this one, I was using uN-JOY V2.5 fix1

I updated the first post of this thread and included a Collection of Themes for OPL v0.9 chart, so it's easy to find them. I scanned each page in this topic and made a journal of all the themes presented (whether complete or test themes). I listed the dates they were published, and tried my best to jot down what OPL version it was intended for.

I included them all, since I did not want to make anyone feel that they were excluded from this list because their theme sucked or whatever other reasons.

Do let me know if you guys want me to trim it down and etc.

Thank you very much for your precious contribution.
Definitely, the PSX-Scene improvements and updatings are made by people with an attitude like yours.

    Side note for us noobs...

Compatibility = USB/Net/HDD/Eth Compatability on Info Screen
$Compatibility = Compatibility Modes for playing games.

...and yes, I just spent an hour trying to figure out why I had two Compatibility settings and why Compatibility=6 kept changing to 3 when I set Modes 1&2 and vice versa.

You can find my reply over here: http://psx-scene.com/forums/f150/jay...91/#post987333 (Jay-Jay's Themes for OPLv0.9)

In My Opinion: It would be cool if someday we could enter these values within OPL's Game Settings per game to display on the Info Page. It would definitely beat a lot of micro-editing these many files. But before that, we have to have a standard on what will be listed on the INFO Page.
