You mean why you can't use custom backgrounds in the ART folder for games. Well, if you're using my theme I'm not using the default layout so I prefer having a setting for not allowing that. You can edit the .cfg file with notepad and change the background_mode=0 to background_mode=3. Hope this helps... :)

I made a second version of my theme with different style menu icons. I made it with use_real_height=1 so there's both NTSC and PAL versions. The preview image is from the PAL version.

@Juho1: I really like these skins.
I guess, this will be my standard as of now. :D

Thanks! Nice to know someone else likes it too. I made it mainly for myself because I like to keep things clean and simple and I also wanted a dark background.

i make them but cant appear picture in the art folder for game
i changebackground_mode=0 to background_mode=3. but cant see picure for game

Ok... So it's not the theme. Are you sure you have enabled the art from the OPL settings. Have you checked the Display Settings. Then if that's ok the last advice I could give you is that you might have named the files in a wrong way. Are you absolutely sure that you've checked the game codes right and named both art and games the same. For example my Ratchet and Clank 2 ISO file is named SCES_516.07.Ratchet and Clank 2.iso and the background image should then be SCES_516.07_BG.png. The background image can be both png or jpg.

i am sure enabled the art from opl
the name of the file is corect
when i use the orginal thems for opl the image of games)art( is appere correctly but when i chane to another themes the theme appare but the image for games (art) cant appare
the opl is .08 rev 859
plz help me
or mack for me themes use for this rev of opl and uses from you correctly and image appare for it
