Hmm....I've seem to run into a brick wall here. I'am trying to run my PS2 games over Network via SMB but I just can't for...whatever to get it work (The games I believe. Open PS2 Loader detects my IP, gateway, etc)
PS2: SCPH - 77001
Mods: uLaunchELF 4.40/Free MC Boot 1.8b
Ethernet Cable: Straight
PC - Acer Aspire T180 x86/x64
OS - Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit
RAM - 2GB DDR II
CPU - AMD Athlon 64 3800+ 2.4GHZ
Router - Linksys Wireless-G WRT54G
I have created the PS2SMB folder and have allowed sharing of it with everyone on my network. I used both USBUtil V 2.00 and USBInsane and I'm not sure but are the games suppose to end in .00, .01, etc as the type of file? Here is a screenie:
The 2 games I ripped from my retail discs are, Maximo: Ghosts to Glory and Final Fantasy XII Collector's Edition. Does it matter if you rip the game and then use the .iso to install the game or do it all-in-one on USButil/insane?
(Side-note, I'm not sure how you open ports in Windows 7. Trying to make sure Port 445 is open for SMB but cannot find out where. All I can find is adding programs to firewall but no ports option.)
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Okay, I find out where to enable/disable ports. Enabled Port 445 for both ingoing and outgoing traffic.
