Hey guys, sorry if I missed it, but I really searched for a solution for my problem.

I am trying to replace HDLoader for Open PS2 Loader, and I don't have a clue on what to do, can someone help me?

what you need to do is to copy the HDLoader.elf file to your MC using uLE.

HDLoader should be in the newbie package so put it on a USB stick and then start your PS2 with FMCB and start uLE.

browse to mass: and then find the hdloader.elf file. when highlighted press the R1 button to get the copy menu. then pick copy!! lol

then browse to MC0 or MC1 depending in which slot your card is... then go to the apps folder and when in there press R1 again and select paste....

if you want to add it to the osdsys start screen then run the FMCB configurator and add it..... same for uLe run its config and assign it to a button ...

    easy really....

Well, I wanted to uninstall HDLoader and install OPL and add it to the main menu, but since I couldn't figure it out after thinkering with FMCB configurator I just erased all data from one of m memory cards and installed the new newbie package of FMCB which already has OPL instead of HDLoader.

Spud42, can I use that to install whatever app and add it to the main manu?

    Btw thanks ^^

You donīt needed to uninstall your FMCB. You have just to configure it.....
Copy the .ELF you want (e.g. OPL.ELF) whereever you want (MC, USB, HDD)
Boot your PS2, in main scroll down to "FMCB Configurator", press "X" or "O" for layout.
Go down to "Configure OSDSYS options...", press OK.
Go down to "Configure Item x : .....", press on trigger left/right to select an empty entry, or to select your "HDD-Loader" to modify it, and press OK.
Now select the "Name" you want to see in main menue of the .ELF
Then go to "PATH1:" and browse to the .ELF

    Thatīs it....

You can configure the entries 1 - 99 for the main-menue (100 is FMCB Configurator)

If you are done, go down to "Return" press OK
Go down to "Return" again and press OK
And then go down to "Save CNF to MC0" or "Save CNF to MC1" depends in which slot you have the FMCB-MC to save it.....

Restart your PS2 and see the new entry in your main....
