Hi everybody!
Can someone tell me which setting i must use for playing ratchet and clank 1 (sces 509.16)?
I read that the game works well with openps2loader, but I doesn't know wich options to choose in "game settings' screens (mode 1, dma mode, ecc...).
I actually use open ps2 loader 0.8!
Thanks a lot and excuse my incorrect english...

Thanks for the answer. I forgot to say that the game is installed on internal hdd,
and I already tried to play: it works initially, but then it freeze as soon as I press the option "new game"...
therefore I would want to know which settings use (if someone knows it)...

Try with different read methods, the one that usually works is MDMA0, but be warned, it will be slow.

oh yea Iam remembering that too
I don't know What i did but i Think I Weren't De-fragmenting the game so Check if Ur Internal HDD Games Is Defragmented .
Don't use windows De-fragmentation, use Auslogics Disk Defrag {It's too more way better}
Remembered : I Got the PAL Version Or the NTSC Version {if u have pal get the ntsc and vice versa}. if that didn't work u should find it's IOP.Img in the game. patch it with the UsbUtil and sure it will works Fine.

You can not defrag Internal Hard Drive you have maybe another option to maybe defrag it but you have to have concurrent space on HD and remove game with WinHIIP_V1.7.6
and reinstall it
No program with defrag as of yet PFS
(Playstation Filing System) would be nice to have something like that developed but probably to much Pain it the Ars

V10 SCPH-50001 with Network adapter SCPH-10281 500 G HD
PSP 3000 9G 6.20 PRO CFW Perm
Unofficial FMCB v1.8C OPL self compiled HD and SMB preferred
Is how all good gaming systems came to be

I got it!
Simply, I tried with another version of the game (SLUS 971.99. I think it is ntsc; the pal version , SCES 509.16, probably doesn't work)...
Thanks to all for the answers!!!!

I use version 971.99 also and it plays fine from the hdd. However, close to the end of the game the is a cut scene that causes the game to freeze. I have tried MDMA0 and many other compatibility settings and cannot find one or a combination that will let me continue. I think the cut scene is at the end of "Drek's Fleet, Veldin Orbit". It takes a while to try the different settings because the cut scene is at the end of the level.
