So, two things in this release.

I finally decided to fix the small bug that was plaguing the linux systems used as share (so most of NAS also). During these changes, I discovered an old and astonishing bug. The 4k cluster disk feature wasn't working at all ... (unless), neither for UL format games, nor for ISO games.

I wonder why nobody reported this ...

    * CRITICAL FIX for 4K disk. It was broken since the beginning for both UL and ISO (2 bugs, one when checking for the cluster size for UL, and one for UL/ISO when patching the usb_cdvdman_irx)
    * Fix for the ISO games filename extension that was required to be lowercase ".iso" (impact on Linux only). Now you can have any extension case you want.

So, I'd like you test this revision for the two above if possible.

Due to the changes, you should try (for the ISO extension fix):
    1. delete/rename/run
    2. for UL AND ISO games
    3. on ETH AND USB devices

All combinations should be tested for regressions.

For the 4K fix ... you have to own one of those new disk that are formatted in 4k cluster size. Format it with 4k, install games and try to launch them.

If you have one recent disk that was failing with OPL, it is time to test is again ( by failing = OPL was listing the games, but running was failing).

    Report here, thank you !

You're not even sure your disk is formatted with 4k cluster ?

If some of your games are working and some not, then it is not related to this fix.

For 4k disk, without this fix no games at all would run.

I can confirm that this OPL 621 is even failing when loading from my XP system. Just tried, the old 5xx works just fine with the same setup.

It stops with a yellow screen. I think you broke something, when fixing the iso extension problem.

Sorry but what is failing ?

    How is it failing ?

It may sound like asking dumb question, but "failing" may describe tons of things.

The fix above is about 4k disk in USB mode, but you talk about Win XP, which implies SMB mode. So tell me more.

Hehe, just noticed that I forgot to mention the yellow screen and after edit you asked for it

I suspect the iso extension changes you made.

So we speak about SMB mode with ISO files, failing to run with a yellow screen on revision 621 ?

Can you make a wireshark capture and post it ?

    SLUS_210.05.Kindom Hearts 2.iso works
ul.cfg SLUS_210.05.Kindom Hearts 2.iso locks up on first reset of ETH

Completely useless post. R614 is at least ten revision before the current one, you don't state what is working, what is failing, what is your setup, ... please don't mess on critical subject again.

What should understand with this ?

What do you mean by fist reset, running the game (LoadExecPS2), or the subsequent Reset_IOP we do ?

Same question as Wazup, can you make a wireshark capture ?
