One thing you can do as a workaround for this limitation is to make a fresh empty VMC of the same size. Then you can use uLE to psuPaste all the gamesaves from the old VMC (except Naruto and the MGS3 saves) to PSU files, after which you psuPaste those new PSU files to the new VMC file and also that Naruto PSU file you wanted to update the VMC with.

Replacing the old VMC file with the new one, you have then achieved the same result as if the overwriting psuPaste had worked. It's an awkward workaround, sure, but at least it does work.

About this two files I know. I wanted to play MGS3 but it fails to save on VMC (progress bar goes about to half and then "Save failed" or something like that, so yes, I'm aware of that), so it is not uLE bug, just something wrong with either MGS3 (USB VMC may be too slow for it) or OPL.
Now that you mention it, there are of course a few games which are not compatible with the VMC methods. But I still have to look into that other uLE bug I mentioned, because it too is real...

In any case I should get back to my debugging now...

    Best regards: dlanor

Already did it, but as a dedicated memory card for Naruto, but I still can't import it properly. I used uLE 4.42a, psuPasted the psu to VMC, closed the file manager (SELECT) and OPL just gives me: "Error with VMC file, continue with physical MC ?" EDIT: I checked, uLE can still open that VMC file.

EDIT2: DISREGARD THAT, FIXED IT! after creating that VMC again (after deleting it) the clean unmodified file didn't work. So I plug the USB drive to my PC, Power Defrag the file... It was in 2 fragments (what the hell is with that bloody drive >_>) and now it works

Since I already knew that VMC's are not working for every game I just thought I won't play it until I finally get a physical MC
